機械工学の修士号を取得した後、同じ分野で博士号取得の準備を始めました。3年間にわたり、大学で専門分野に関連する多くの科目を講義しながら、ロボティクスの研究も行っていました。余暇には、オンデマンドで部品を製作したり、市場で入手できない部品を作る小さな3Dプリント事業を始めました。
