学部と修士課程の両方でベネチアの大学に在籍していました。その後、文部科学省の奨学金に応募し、日本で博士号を取得しました。大学在学中は、大学図書館で司書として働きながら、ベネチアの地元のお店でボランティア活動をしていました。
