Location is Key

The 10th school at One Coin English. The school was opened in 2020. When we decided to build a school in Sangenjaya, we were really excited, it's a place that was on the table for a long time but wasn't an option. The Sangenjaya school has over 11 classrooms in total including both group and private classes for students.

Teacher
Hello! I’m Mat, from Brazil! Working in the environment that is provided within OCE, has given me the confidence necessary to become a successful teacher. Being able to help students understand new material, grow and achieve their goals, is not only rewarding but also inspiring. My teaching adventure has been so gratifying and I’m looking forward to what the future has in store for me! Let’s GO!

Student
I went to an English conversation school several times, but I often couldn't attend because of the timing of the lessons. Of course, my English level dropped a lot. One coin English is perfect for me because you can freely choose the time to take the lessons!

Life in Sangenjaya

Brimming with life

Sangenjaya, also known as Sancha, is one of those towns that no one talks about but everyone knows. It's only a 7-minute ride from Shibuya while still being well-connected to Kawasaki and even a walk away from Shimokitazawa. It's often compared to Shibuya and Shimokitazawa which we all know are bustling areas full of fashion, food, and culture. The food options around here are great. This is definitely one of the better locations for having lunch while teaching part-time!
