Hi everyone, I’m Abi, and I’m from the Philippines. I started working in OCE as a part-time teacher in February 2015 when the school only had one branch in Shinjuku and we were still sharing a space with a Korean school in Yokohama. Now, we have seven schools and we're still growing! After almost 4 years, I still enjoy coming to work every day because I love meeting and working with people of different nationalities. Before coming to Japan, I never imagined working in such an international environment, but now some of my closest friends are from all over the world. I love how OCE welcomes talented individuals regardless of their nationalities, appearances, or genders. Our students are also unique, as a lot of them are very open-minded and adventurous. OCE becomes a gateway for students who are very interested in different cultures and are eager to learn English. We also give an opportunity for Japanese students to see that English is widely spoken in different countries all over the world!
