If you've experienced a Working Holiday Work or ventured abroad solo, you're likely familiar with the occasional apprehension and moments of solitude. This holds true, particularly in Tokyo, if you're embarking on a Working Holiday in Japan.

With our mission in mind, we try our best to be the support network for our teachers and to each other. This means that, from amongst the community of One Coin English, you will find help whether it be a bank account, sim card, or even housing.

How our schedule works

For weekdays, the shifts can be either:

  • From 1 pm - 10 pm
  • From 1 pm to 5 pm
  • From pm - 10 pm

Weekend shifts are always:

  • Saturday: from 10 am to 7 pm
  • Sunday: from 10 am to 7 pm

 

Some people decide to balance a different job with us and that's completely fine! It is the perfect job for Working Holiday work.

Is it possible to get a visa to stay longer? YES!

We offer visa support! Here are some requirements you have to meet with us:

  • Have a bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 6 months with us
  • Able to stay for a further year
  • Pass the interviews with the management team
  • Performance goals

What if I want to travel?

No problem! We have a flexible time off system.

If you tell us 25 days in advance, we can take you off the schedule for those days.

Requirements

  • 20 years +
  • Able to work at least 15 hours per week
  • Able to stay and commit to at least 9 months
  • Have a visa that is valid to work (Working Holiday work visas!)
  • Live within 45 minutes of the nearest school
  • Live within 500 yen within the nearest school
  • Already living or have solid plans for their move to Tokyo

 

 

Working Holiday Work

Salary:

  • 1200 to 1500 yen per booked slot - depends on the level
  • Transportation is reimbursed with salary
